Q. What does Ty Mawr Classics manufacture?
A. Ty Mawr custom designs JacQuard woven cotton
throws and tapestries.
Q. How many images can be used?
A.
For a tapestry throw or a coverlet, 1-12 images can be used. Banners,
bell pulls and some pillows can have multiple
images.
Q. What kind of reference material can be
used?
A. Clear color photos, Sketches, Art work,
Postcards, and Quilt blocks. Just about anything that can be
scanned.
Q. Can something be added or deleted from the
sent image?
A. Yes
Q. Can the art
department supply images the customer doesn't have like bicycles, trees,
flowers?
A. Yes
Q. Where do I send my
material?
A. Art work can be emailed in tif file or jpg

Q. How long for an initial
sketch?
A. 4 - 7 working days
Q. How
long for the computer generated sketch?
A. 7- 10 working
days after approval of the initial sketch.

for a sample of our pattern?
A. 7 - 10 working days
after approval of the computer generated sketch.
Q. How
long until I receive my order?
A. Production varies
according to the time of year, the amount ordered and if a special order
has been asked for i.e. dyed thread color. Call or email for
shipping quote.
Q. Who pays for
shipping?
A. The client.
Q. How do you
ship?
A. Generally U.P.S. Overseas shipments to military
posts start with the U.S. Post Office.
All other overseas costs,
tariffs, dock are paid by the client.
Q. How are the goods
packaged?
A. 2 layer coverlets are individually packaged
in polybags. Tapestry throws are individually packaged in
zippered plastic bags. There are generally 16 units of
coverlets/throws to a box. Requests taken for all other tapestry
products.
Q. What are the care
instructions?
A. For coverlets and tapestry
throws: Can be machine washed cold gentle cycle, hang or tumble dry
low heat. A hot dryer will ruin the throw. We recommend dry
cleaning. Generic detachable care labels are on coverlets and
tapestry throws. For all other tapestry products that are a
poly/cotton blend: spot clean.
Q. What does Ty Mawr mean?
A. Big house or large home in Welsh
